It is fourth game in Age of Wonders series which following the Age of Wonders and Age of Wonders II. This game released on 31 March 2014 through the digital distribution and through retail select territories for the Microsoft Windows.
Age of Wonders III, as like previous games in series is turn based a strategy game set within high fantasy universe where player assumes role of political-military leader. The Game-play is based on 4X where players explore world map, and slowly building empire through the colonization and warfare plus diplomacy with rival powers.
